Yes, we are still alive! XD But the last week we actually did like ... nothing. xD;
We just bummed around and did nonsense stuff. *lol* Also it was rather hot last week so we didn't want to go to the city. ^^' There's nothing much to tell. We just slept, played PSX and did other stuff I don't even remember. ^^'
But TODAY~ hehe, we went to the Yoyogi Park and Shibuya. ^^ We followed a suggested route from a flyer we got in the Governmental building when we were there to watch down to Tokyo from the 42th floor. :D First we took the Tokyo Metro to Omote Sando which is a street full of expensive high class boutiques. xD; Not a thing for us but we wanted to see them anyway. *lol* It didn't even looked like Japan there, more like NY or something. o.O (I've never been there but Omote Sando looked more American style than Japanese style xD;)
From there we went to the 'scene or style destrict' Harajuku. XD To be exact we walked along the Takeshita-dori. Damn~ it's totally awesome there!!! *__* They have so many uberstylish clothes in the shops!! I want to shop there! ToT And I want one pair of those cool pants! ;3; (yes, now everyone knows which I mean *lol*) But unfortunately most of the things are rather expensive... ;_; btw. does someone read NANA? If so, then you can get an impression of which sort of clothes are being selled in there. *G* Oh I forgot..before we went to that street we stumbled across a used/old book(Manga!), DVD, CD, Games shop! :DDD Yep, our favourite kind of shop~ *rofl* Of course we spend nearly 2 hours in there because it was so big and had so many things! ZOMG!! O_O;; Xeno bought two rare and valuable Zetsuai CDs (I found them >3), some NGE and Biohazard books/guides and the Popotan box with the cute little Unagi-tan plushie! awww~ XDD For myself I found a Digital Devil Saga Doujinshii/Manga (w00t!!! XD) and a Guilty Gear book with retarded comic strips for 350yen each. *is happy*lol* They also had some One Piece, Naruto and other series' doujinshi but sadly no KH! T_T
Well, after all of that we went to the Yoyogi Park which is the biggest park in Tokyo. Deep within the park also is a huge Meiji Shrine. It was really chilling there with a funny priest walking around all the time. X3
After our visit there we relaxed a while on a huge meadow and then set off to Shibuya... the other style and scene district. *lol* Where are mostly young ppl around... who are badly overdressed and overstyled.(does that word even exist?) XDD I think that's all you need to know about Shibuya. *lol* Besides of the statue of Hachiko - the cute and loyal dog. awww~ X3 (you can read further details at wikipedia. ;P note: Nana Komatsu got her nickname from that dog. xD all my knowledge comes from Manga and videogames.. *cough*) I forgot to mention.. there are MANY people around! o_O; Wow! I bet more than 200 people are walking over the Shibuya crossing every few minutes. *_*; The streets are full of young stylish Japanese, some weird gaijin and expensive shops. XD;
Oh and we also found a used clothes shop which also sells Yukatas and Kimonos for a fair price! *_* We have to go there again and buy one. xD
here are some pictures!
(it's just a small selection because Xeno took over 400 *_*~)
I'm still thinking about uploading the small vids too. We already have some interesting, amusing and random videos collected. XD
Now I'm rather tired from all the walking today.. I guess I go to bed soon. x_X
Ohh~ I got a small Yoruichi pin from one of those 100yen capsule machines! Yay! XD *random*
Dear, tomorrow I get one year older. T_T Not long and I turn 30! Bloody hell... T_T I hope the date tomorrow is no bad omen for me because it's the 06.06.06! *lol* XD
