Asakusa pics and vids
Jun. 29th, 2006 05:00 pmWe went to Asakusa yesterday. It's the district which still has the flair of the Edo period, many old shops where you can buy Japanese souvenirs and the Kaminarimon, the gate with the great red ...err lantern which can be found on many pictures.
Here are the beautiful pictures. I think they speak for themselves. ^^~ It's soo hot here atm to write more details about the trip. x_x; (but it's getting cooler already... we have only 30°C right now =D) We didn't do much anyway yesterday besides of walking through the streets, looking at Buddhas and visiting temples. ^^' We will definitaly pay Asakusa another visit later and buy some typical japanese souvenirs for our relatives at home. *lol* ;P
btw. I've also uploaded some random (and mostly silly *cough*) vids to my filefront account. The link was added to the info menue above but you can also click here to get the vids. They are sorted descending by date, newest at top - oldest at bottom.
Have fun! :D
