"We are Mr. and Ms. Suzuki...
Aug. 24th, 2006 03:20 pm...and we ordered a bottle of red wine." (<-random! You don't need to understand that.*rofl*)
Yeaah~ yasumi~~!! Finally after 18,5 10 hour days of work. w00t!!! I dunno how long but at least this evening xD I hope we also get tomorrow morning off! *prays*
I wanted to write something else but I forgot what. -.-;
ah~ then I tell you about some of our jokes/wordpuns. Did I already mention our silly little Howl wordpun? (yes, the Howl from Howl's Moving Castle which was on TV some weeks ago) I don't think so. XD Since "Howl" is spoken "Hauru" in Japan and we have to fold a bazillion of towels every day we began to make stupid wordpuns with the word "towel" which is one of the katakana-ized words and is spoken "taoru" in Japan. So we came to the stupid idea of a new movie called "Taoru's Moving Bathtub" or in Japanese "Taoru no ugoku bathtub". I know it's not very creative but it's rather silly because we think the idea of a PINK towel riding a moving bathtub is quite funny. XD;; I know we are weird! *lol*
We also have some other wordpuns like the one with Tomoko's name. Last week we got cooked corn (I don't know if that's the right english description. If not please tell me the right word! ^^') for supper which is "tomorokoshi" in Japanese. But when Asami told me that I understood only half of it and asked "tomoko..what?" and suddenly the word "tomokoroshi" popped up which is short for "Tomoko koroshii" (kill Tomoko). Poor Tomoko... XD; No we didn't kill her! She's still alive.
In addition to that Asami made a pun with the German word for tomorokoshi (Mais) and "umai~" (tasty). Now when we eat corn the best answer to the question "oishii desu ka?" is "umais!". XD
Ok, enough from our stupid jokes! ...which aren't even funny to other ppl I guess xD;
Yesterday Sandra's and mine view of the world was destroyed! O_O;; Ok..not really but we have been shocked! Twice!! o_O
In the morning Sandra had a small talk with Asami and discovered that she's already 28 years old!! WTF!! She looks like... 24-25 or so. I didn't expect her to be at the end of the twenties already. o_O And because we were so shocked we asked Tomoko again how old she is. And she replied THIRTY-FIVE!! TEH HELL??!? O_O! She looks like around 25..and also acts like that! *rofl* Woah this time we are really surprised how the Japanese can cover their age. I wish I could do that too. xD; And now we understand why Masako didn't want to tell us her age. ^^; I bet she's also going straight towards the fourties (since she looks older than Tomoko) or even is a bit older than 40 which also could be judging from her stories. ^^'
Yes, Japan and its people are interesting. xD
btw. I re-activated Skype! My name there is Doomfish (screenname Terra) So if anyone sees me online there and want to call feel free to do so! But please no weird guys I don't know.. >_>;
